Biography
Hilary Shepard Turner was born in New York City, New York in 1961. In the late 1980s, Shepard was a member of the short-lived all-girl group American Girls, where she was the lead singer and percussionist. When her stint with the group ended, she entered a career in acting.
She is probably best known for her role as the evil pirate queen Divatox in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. She had to take a maternity leave, which led to her not being able to appear on the show. Carol Hoyt was selected to replace Hilary as Divatox for the first half of the season. Hilary would later reprise her role as Divatox halfway through the season and also had a few guest appearances in Power Rangers in Space
Hilary is best friends with actress Daryl Hannah and they created two board games together: "Love It or Hate It" & "LIEbrary". She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and her 2 daughters: Cassidy (born 1991) and Scarlett (born 1997).
